 Laos

81- Laos – National Assembly

The Parliament of Laos is known as National Assembly. The National assembly is a unicameral legislature of Laos. The National Assembly was established in its current form by the Lao Constitution of 1991 replacing the Supreme People's Assembly. The National assembly building is situated at Vientiane, the capital and largest city of Laos.

Laos is a one-party state and Lao People's Revolutionary Party is the sole legal party in the country. Most of the National Assembly's actions simply rubber stamp the party's decisions.  Efforts have been made to increase the capacity of its members, aiming to strengthen their legislative, oversight, and representational capacities.

 



Latvia

82- Latvia - Saeima 

The Parliament of Latvia is known as Saeima. Saeima is a unicameral legislature of Latvia. The Saeima traces its origins to the Sejm of the Kingdom of Poland, which led to the creation of the Sejm of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and later to the creation of the Sejm of the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth. Latvia, a part of the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth. Saeima, is situated at House of Livonian Nobel Corporation in Riga, the Capital of Latvia.

The Saiema,unicameral legislature of Latvia consists of 100 seats. The member of Saiema are elected by propositional representation. Election for member of Saeima is held in every 4 year on the first Saturday of October. 

     



Lebanon                                                    

83- Lebanon – The Parliament of Lebanon

The Parliament of Lebanon is the national legislature of Lebanon. The Parliament of Lebanon is a unicameral legislature of Lebanon. The Parliament of Lebanon is situated at Beirut, capital and largest city of Lebanon.

The Parliament of Lebanon consists 128 members elected for each 4 year of term in a multi member constituencies. After the TaifAgreement of 1989, reappointed by the Parliament to provide for equal representation of Christians and Muslims, with each electing 64 of the 128 Deputies. Of which are 43 Catholics, 27 Sunni, 27 Shiite, 20 Orthodox, 8 Druze, 2 Alawites and 1 Evangelical.

Lesotho

84- Lesotho – Parliament of Lesotho

The Parliament of Lesotho is the national legislature of Lesotho. The Parliament of Lesotho is a bicameral legislature of Lesotho. The Parliament of Lesotho is situated at Maseru, the capital and largest city of Lesotho.

The Parliament of Lesotho consists with 2 chambers, The Senate (Upper Chamber) and The National Assembly (Lower Chamber).

The Senate has 33 number of members. 22 are tribal chiefs for the sake of tribal areas in Lesotho and 11 are nominated by the King for the election. The member of the Senate were elected for a 5 year term.

NationalAssembly has a total of 120 members which 80 members are elected in single member constituencies using the simple majority system and 40 members are elected through proportional representation. The members of National Assembly serve 5 year terms.

 





Liberia

85- Liberia - Legislature of Liberia 

The Parliament of Liberia is the national legislature of Liberia. The Parliament of Liberia is a bicameral legislature of Liberia. The Parliament of Liberia is situated at Monrovia, the capital and largest city of Liberia.

The Parliament of Liberia consists of 2 house, The Senate (Upper House) and the House of Representative (Lower House).

The House of Representatives contains 73 seats, with each county being apportioned a number of seats based on its population. The Senate has 30 members, with two senators, who won the first and second position, serving from each county elected based on popular vote.

Libya

86- Libya – House of Representatives

The Parliament of Libya is the national legislature of Libya. The Parliament of Libya known as The House of Representative. The Parliament of Libya is situated at Tripoli, the capital and largest city of Libya consists 3 million population.

The Libyan House of Representatives officially became a legislative body on 4 August 2014, following an election on 25 June 2014, replacing the General National Congress. Because of security process concerns no voting took place in some of locations.

 




Liechtenstein

87- Liechtenstein - Landtag of Liechtenstein

The Parliament of Liechtenstein is known as the Landtag of the principality of Liechtenstein. The Parliament of Liechtenstein is the unicameral legislature of the Liechtenstein. Landtag is situated at Vaduz, the capital and famous city of Liechtenstein.

Under the Constitution of 1921, a constitutional amendment approved in a 1988 referendumincrease the size of seats from 15 to 25, starting with the 1989 elections. Each of the 25 members is elected for a 4-year term by open list proportional representation from 2 constituencies, Oberland with 15 seats and Unterland with 10 seats





 Lithuania

88- Lithuania - Seimas 

The Parliament of Lithuania is known as the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania. The Parliament of Lithuania is the unicameral legislature of the Lithuania. Seimasis situated atVilnius, the capital and largest city of Lithuania.

The Seimas 141 members are elected for a 4-year of term. By 141 members 71 elected in individual constituencies, and 70 elected in a nationwide vote based on proportional representation.

The Seimas constitutes the legislative body of government in Lithuania. It has the power to enacting laws and amendments for the Constitution. The Seimas also release the budget with the Prime Minister and the Government and controlling by their activity.






 Luxembourg

89- Luxembourg – The Chamber of Deputies

The Parliament of Luxembourg is known as theChamber of Deputies. The Parliament of Luxembourg is the unicameral legislature of the Luxembourg. The Chamber of Deputiesis situated at Krautmaart in the Luxembourg City.

The Chamber of Deputies have 60 seats. The Deputies are elected to serve 5-year terms by proportional representation in four seat constituencieswhich are each a combination of at least two cantons. Each constituency of Luxembourg elects number of deputies proportionate to its population, with the largest electing 23 and the smallest electing 7 member. Voters may vote for as many candidates as the constituency elects deputies.

 




Macau

90- Macau – Legislative Assembly of Macau

The Parliament of Macau is known as theLegislative Assembly of Macau. The Parliament of Macau is the unicameral legislature of the Macau. The Legislative Assembly is situated at , a southeast civil parish in the Macau Peninsula of Macau.

The Legislative Assembly of Macau consists of a 33-member body. It is comprising with Fourteen directly elected members, Tweleve indirectly elected members representing functional constituencies and Seven members appointed by the chief executive.     





                         

 Madagascar

91- Madagascar – Parliament of Madagascar

The Parliament of Madagascar is known as thenational legislature of the Madagascar. The Parliament of Madagascar is the bicameral legislature of the Madagascar. The Parliament of Madagascar is situated at Antananarivo, the capital and largest city of Madagascar.

The Parliament of Madagascar have 2 Chambers, the Senate and the National assembly.

The Senatehas 33 members in which 22 are elected from every district of Madagascar, and 11 more are appointed by the President, all for five-year terms. And the National assembly has 151 members, elected for 5 year terms in sole member and two-member constituencies.





 Malawi

92- Malawi – National Assembly

The parliament of Malawi is known as the National assembly of the Supreme legislative body of Malawi. The National assembly is a unicameral body of the legislature of Malawi. National Assembly is situated at Lilongwe, the Capital and the most populous city of the African country of the Malawi.

The National Assembly has 193 Members of Parliament (MPs) who are directly elected in single-member constituencies using the simple majoritysystem. The Member of Parliament of Malawi are elected for 5year terms. The National Assembly solely possesses legislative supremacy and the limited power over all other political bodies in Malawi. Speaker is the head of the House who is elected by his or her peers.





 Malaysia

93- Malaysia – Malaysia Parliament

The Parliament of Malaysia is the national legislature body of the Malaysia. The Parliament of Malaysia is based on Westminster Model. Malaysian Houses of Parliament situated at, Kuala Lumpur referred to as KL, is a federal territory and the capital city of Malaysia.

The Parliament of Malaysia is a bicameral Parliament consists of 2 chamber, the Dewan Rakyat (House of Representatives) andthe Dewan Negara (Senate) andthe Yang di-PertuanAgong is the King and the Head of State is the 3rd component of Parliament.

The Dewan Rakyat consists of 222 members of Parliament elected from sole member constituenciestaken on population in a general election using the first-past-the-post system.

The Dewan Negara consists of 70 members called as Senators, 26 are elected by the 13 state assemblies, 4 are appointed by the Yang di-PertuanAgong to face the three federal territories. The rest 40 members are appointed by the Yang di-PertuanAgong on the advice of the PM. 





 Maldives

94- Maldives – The People's Majlis

The Parliament of Maldives is also known as the People's Majlis. In Maldivian language Majlis is also known as Dhivehi. The People’s Majlis is a unicameral legislature of the Republic of Maldives. The People’s Majlis is situated at Malé, is the capital and most populous city in the Republic of Maldives.

The Majlis is composed of 87 members and The Majlis has the authority to enact, amend and revise laws for the constitution of Maldives. 2 members are elected from every administrative atoll under the present constitution. Another 2 members are elected from the capital Male’ of the Republic of Maldives. The president selects 8 members to the Majlis Also the annual budget of the state of Maldives is also passed by The People’s Majlis.

 






95- Mali – National assembly

The Parliament of Mali is also known as National Assembly. The Parliament of Mali is a unicameral legislative body of the Republic of Mali. National assembly of Mali is situated at Bamako, the capital and largest city of Mali.

Members of the National assembly is also known as Deputies are elected by direct universal suffrage for a five-year term, during which they enjoy parliamentaryimmunity. The Assembly normally meets twice a year, on the first Monday in October for no more than 75 days and the first Monday in April for no more than 90 days but Prime Minister or Majority of the National assembly member can call on an extra session for the People of Mali.





 Malta

96- Malta – The Parliament of Malta

The Parliament of Malta is the constitutional legislative body of the Republic of Malta. The parliament of Malta is a unicameral legislature of the Malta. The Parliament House of Malta is situated at Valletta, the capital and most populous city of Malta.

The Parliament of Malta is a unicameral composed with democratically elected House of Representatives and the President of Malta. By Constitutional law, all government ministers, including the Prime Minister, must be members of the House of Representatives.

 





Marshall Islands

97-Marshall Islands – Legislature of the Marshall Island (Nitijela)

The Parliament of the Marshall Island is also known as Legislature of the Marshall Island or in Local language Nitijela. The Parliament of Marshall Island is a unicameral legislature of the Republic of Marshall Island. Nitijela is situated Capitol Building, Majuro, the Capital and the largest city of the Marshall Island.

Nitijela has 33 members, and the elected member of Nitjela serve a four-year term in single-seat and five multi-seat constituencies. The last election was November 18, 2019. Elections in the Marshall Islands are officially nonpartisan, but there is only 4 Political party in Marshall Island and most members of the Nitjela are affiliated with that four active political parties in the Marshall Islands.

 





Mauritanian

98- Mauritanian – National assembly

The Parliament of the Mauritanian is also known as National Assembly. The Parliament of Mauritanian is a unicameral legislature of the Islamic Republic of Mauritanian. National assembly is situated Nouakchott, the Capital and the largest city of the Mauritanian.

The Mauritanian Parliament is composed of a single chamber, the National Assembly Composed of 157 members. The representatives of National Assembly are elected for a 5 year term in single-seat constituencies.

99- Mauritius – National assembly

The Parliament of the Mauritius is also known as National Assembly. The Parliament of Mauritius is a unicameral legislature which was called the Legislative Assembly until 1992, when the country became a republic. The Parliament House or National assembly is situated Port Louis, the Capital and the largest city of the Mauritius.

Mauritius Parliament is modelled as the Westminster system of parliamentary democracy, where members of parliament are elected in regulargeneral election of the country, on the basis of a first past the post system. The Parliament of Mauritius consists of 70 members, 62 directly elected for 5 year terms in multi-member and 8 additional members, known as "best losers", appointed by the ElectoralSupervisory Commission to make sure of that ethnic and religious minorities are equally represented.

 




Mexico

100 – Mexico – Congress of the Union

The Parliament of the Mexico is also known as Congress of the Union or General Congress of the United Mexican States. The Parliament of Mexicois a bicameral legislature of the Federal Government of the Mexico. Congress of the Union building is situated Mexico City, the Capital and the largest city of theMexico.

The legislature of the federal government of Mexico consisting of two chambers: the Senate of the Republic and the Chamber of Deputies. The Senate also known as upper House have 128 members and the Chamber of Deputies have 500 members known as Deputies.
