DRDO is Now Setting Example. Invented Covid Kit DIPCOVAN.

After inventing 2DG for coronary artery disease, DRDO is now setting an example once again.  DRDO has now developed an antibody detection kit.  This kit has the name DIPCOVAN.  It was developed in partnership with Delhi's Venhard Diagnostic Pvt.

 Kit is built entirely on indigenous knowledge techniques.  Indian scientists have developed it.  The effectiveness of the kit has been made public after it was tested on the bodies of 1,000 patients at various Kovidh hospitals in Delhi.  The kit has been tested at three levels since last year.  The kit was certified by the Indian Council of Medical Research in April 2021.

 In May, the use of the kit was approved by the Drugs Controller of India.

 Through the DIPCOVAN kit, antibodies and plasma can be detected in the body of the corona infected.  The kit has a validity of 18 months.  The kit will be launched before June.  In the first phase, 100 kits will be available.  It will then produce 500 kits per month.  It is estimated that it will cost Rs 75 per test.  Defense Minister Rajnath Singh congratulated the DRDO for such a great achievement.  This week, ICMR approved a test kit called Koviself.  With this kit, people can sit at home and test their corona.
