Muslim League arrange emergency meeting against Israel, 57 countries to unite.
The OIC tweeted that a foreign ministerial meeting of members of the executive committee of the organization was convened on May 16 at the request of Saudi Arabia. The meeting will focus on the violence at the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem and the Israeli attack on the Palestinian territories.
The 57-member Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) has condemned Israel's actions against Palestine, while the group's chief Islamic State, Saudi Arabia, has issued a separate statement strongly condemning Israel's attack on Palestine. Saudi Arabia has said it is opposed to Israel's plan to evict the families of Palestinians from East Jerusalem, and that Israel is suspending the lives of innocent Palestinians.
Turkey and Pakistan are increasingly active in uniting Muslim countries against Israel's attack on Palestine. "Muslim countries must unite against Israel and take a tougher stance," he said. "The Muslim community should take a clear stand against Israel," he said.
